8-Bitka, also published as “Восьмибитка” (“the app”), is an 8-bit-style emulator that plays game files you add yourself. This policy explains what data the app handles.
None that identifies you. The app has no accounts and no login. The game files (ROMs) you add, your save states and app settings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us.
The free version shows occasional full-screen ads between game sessions via Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process device identifiers (including the advertising identifier), coarse technical data and ad-interaction data. With your permission (iOS App Tracking Transparency and, in the EEA/UK, a consent form), this may be used for personalized advertising and cross-app tracking; without permission, ads remain but are less relevant. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data. Purchasing “Remove ads” disables advertising.
Cartridge covers are generated on your device from your own game files (the game’s title screen) or set by you manually from your Photos. The app does not send your game files or file names to any server for artwork.
The “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.
The app is rated 13+. The app itself contains no game content: it ships empty and plays only the files you add yourself, so the rating reflects that those files are outside our control. It is not directed at young children.
